QLD COVID-19 – HOW RESTRICTIONS WILL AFFECT THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY (AUGUST 2021)

In support of the announcement by the Queensland State Government to limit the spread of Covid, we want to assure you we are proactively working to adhere to the restrictions in place by the QLD State Government so that together, we all play a part in helping control the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

Restrictions for Locked Down Areas

As directed by the QLD Government, from 4pm Saturday 31 July 2021 to 4pm Sunday 8 August 2021, areas in South East Queensland are subject to new restrictions. This includes:

  • City of Brisbane
  • City of Gold Coast
  • City of Ipswich
  • Lockyer Valley Regional Council
  • Logan City
  • Moreton Bay Region
  • Noosa Shire Council
  • Redland City
  • Scenic Rim Regional Council
  • Somerset Regional Council
  • Sunshine Coast Regional Council

For Real Estate, this means:

  • Open Homes are not permitted.  We can conduct Private Inspections by Appointment.
  • In person Auctions are not permitted.  We can conduct online auctions.
